Are you having problems with the electricity?

General

Does something not work with the electricity / power? Do you have a problem with a light bulb or a socket not working?

Please check the following things before contacting us, as you may be able to solve the problem yourself quickly:

  1. Check if the neighbours or your surroundings do not have electricity themselves. If this is the case, there is probably a power failure. Unfortunately in this situation you can only wait until the power is back.
  2. If it only affects your room or apartment, it could be due to the fuse. In this case you must try to find the fuse box. In some cases it is only a switch that needs to be turned back up. In older houses it is possible that the fuses look like cylinders, which in this case have to be replaced by new ones. You can then buy them for little money in the hardware store

If none of the above points have occurred, you can proceed as follows:

 

Light bulb does not work

If a light bulb in your lamp does not work, you can simply buy it at the nearest supermarket, DIY store or electronics store and replace it yourself. Since light bulbs are part of the so-called "small maintenance" of every tenant, they have to be provided by the tenant himself, even in the common rooms.

 

Socket has no electricity

If the power outlet has run out and you have checked the fuses, first try another power outlet in the room to see if it is also broken. If this is the case, you should contact our support so we can fix the problem. Please note that in some cases the sockets are connected to the light switch and can be switched on or off. So make sure that the light switch in the room makes the socket work.
