What is a notice period?
General
Basically, a notice period is the period of time between the time you announce that the contract is to be terminated and the time when it should end.
In most cases, rental contracts are concluded for an unlimited period of time, i.e. without a predefined end, and in this sense they continue to run until they can be terminated at a certain point in time. The period of notice is therefore the time you have to keep to until you can terminate your rental agreement ordinarily.
The duration of your period of notice can be found in your rental contract. The standard at Room Estate is 3 months. If you want to cancel your tenancy, you can find more information here.
