How can I rent a room?

General

In order to rent a room with us, you first need a Room Estate user account. You can easily create one on our website within minutes. Just click on "Register" and follow the instructions until you are in the Cockpit, your personal user account.

In a further step you can add your favourites in the dashboard or under "Room Rental". Alternatively, you can add any room to your list by clicking on the respective heart.

At the end you are missing the following verifications, which you can easily obtain in the cockpit:

1 E-mail address

Confirm your e-mail address with the 4-digit code you receive by e-mail and click on the button.

2 Phone number

Verify your phone number using the four-digit code that Room Estate sends to your mobile phone. You can receive an SMS around the clock and worldwide, no matter what number you have.

3 Identity verification

We would like to know who you are. Please upload your identity card or passport to your Room Estate account.

4 Solvency Verification

Similar to the upload for the identity check, you can upload your documents for the solvency check directly from your Room Estate account. Usually we need a signed version of your employment contract as a scan or your study confirmation.

Please note that an identity check and solvency verification can take 24 to 48 hours during working days.

After full verification of your Room Estate Account you can sign your rental contract online. After signing the rental agreement you have successfully rented the room from the start date.
